DC105 + new HF Board = DC106
Hier neueste DVB-T Sender Modul als USB Transmitter.
Here latest DVB-T transmitter module as a USB Transmitter,
Frequency range: 100MHz...2500MHz ( because this is broadband, bandpass or low pass filter is needed )
Test 2400MHz :
Soft set 0dB ---- Output 2mW ---- Shoulder 53dB
set -10dB ------ Output 0,25mW ---- Shoulder 56dB
Test 1280MHz :
Soft set 0dB ---- Output 6mW ---- Shoulder 53dB
set -10dB ------ Output 0,8mW ---- Shoulder 58dB
Test 436MHz :

The DC-106 and OE7DBH Darko's 1W 70cm amplifier were part of a payload flown on a surplus weather balloon.
It reached a burst altitude of 98,000 feet and maximum distance from the launch site was 39 miles.
The transmit antenna was a 70cm 'Wheel' design on the bottom of the package and receive antennas
were 11 element yagis with pre amps.
We were able to receive and record live QPSK, 4MHZ, 720P HD video during the flight from lift off
until approximately 1 1/2 minutes before landing, a distance of 39 miles from the airport.
A few fun facts about the flight:
Launch: 10:25 AM
Burst: 11:57 AM - 97988 feet altitude
LOS of digital signal: 12:24 PM - 3500 feet altitude
Landing: 12:26 PM
Temperature readings in degrees F from inside the package:
Max: 96.9 10:32 AM - Shortly after launch - built up heat from the DVB-T amplifier
Min: 37 11:39 - 11:41 AM 78799 feet altitude for 2 minutes - clearly past the thermocline - must have taken
time to warm up.
Attached are frame grabs 5 seconds before burst and the last video before landing.
Best,
Tom K5SAF
